Best Buy Android Tablet Tipped for $239 to $259

From DailyTech: Best Buy has been teasing a new Android-powered tablet on its “Insignia” Facebook website. The tablet is called the Insignia Flex and will run Android 4.0. Along with the photo tease, Insignia Products, the Best Buy house brand, also offered up a few hardware details about the tablet.

The tablet will run a dual-core 1 GHz processor and have a 9.7-inch screen. The tablet promises 10 hours of battery life per charge and is expected to hit store shelves around the middle of November. One thing Best Buy didn't mention in its teasing of the tablet is exactly how much the device would cost.

Reuters reports that a source familiar with the matter indicates that the price of the tablet will be between $239 and $259. Best Buy intends the Insignia Flex to battle the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, the Google Nexus 7, and a wealth of other Android tablets on the market today.

Best Buy will reportedly continue to sell other tablets despite having its own branded version on store shelves.
